چکیده

In this work, N-periodic linear singular systems are considered. Feedbacks for obtaining positive N-periodic singular systems are analyzed. Some properties on the existence of these feedbacks are established. The concept of holdability of the setR+ is used for getting a positive trajectory of the closed-loop singular systems. This paper examines how feedbacks can be used to modify the trajectory of the system.

Admissibility analysis for discrete-time singular systems with time-varying delays by adopting the state-space Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model

This paper is pertained with the problem of admissibility analysis of uncertain discrete-time nonlinear singular systems by adopting the state-space Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model with time-delays and norm-bounded parameter uncertainties. Lyapunov Krasovskii functionals are constructed to obtain delay-dependent stability condition in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which is dependent on the low...

Optimal Finite-time Control of Positive Linear Discrete-time Systems

This paper considers solving optimization problem for linear discrete time systems such that closed-loop discrete-time system is positive (i.e., all of its state variables have non-negative values) and also finite-time stable. For this purpose, by considering a quadratic cost function, an optimal controller is designed such that in addition to minimizing the cost function, the positivity proper...

A novel technique for a class of singular boundary value problems

In this paper, Lagrange interpolation in Chebyshev-Gauss-Lobatto nodes is used to develop a procedure for finding discrete and continuous approximate solutions of a singular boundary value problem. At first, a continuous time optimization problem related to the original singular boundary value problem is proposed. Then, using the Chebyshev- Gauss-Lobatto nodes, we convert the continuous time op...

LMI Approach to Regularization and Stabilization of Linear Singular Systems: The Discrete-time Case

Sufficient linear matrix inequalities (LMI) conditions for regularization of discrete-time singular systems are given. Then a new class of regularizing stabilizing controllers is discussed. The proposed controllers are the sum of predictive and memoryless state feedbacks. The predictive controller aims to regularizing the singular system while the memoryless state feedback is designed to stabil...

Application of the Drazin inverse to the analysis of descriptor fractional discrete-time linear systems with regular pencils

Descriptor (singular) linear systems were considered in many papers and books (Bru et al., 2000; 2002; 2003; Campbell et al., 1976; Dai, 1989; Dodig and Stosic, 2009; Fahmy and O’Reill, 1989; Kaczorek, 1992; 2004; 2007b; 2011a; 2011d; Van Dooren, 1979; Virnik, 2008). The eigenvalues and invariants assignment by state and output feedbacks were investigated by Fahmy and O’Reill (1989), Gantmacher...
